Lonza, Inc., has signed an exclusive a­greement with Innovite, a company specializing in the manufacture of sustained-release niacin tablets, to manufacture Niamax™. Under this agreement Lonza will offer Niamax in bulk, in the form of a 500 mg sustained-release tablet to the U.S. market. The Niamax formulation uses Lonza’s Niacin USP granular material.
